Vineyard Updates: This week weโre planting 925 replacement vines โ Syrah, Merlot, Cab Sauv, Cab Franc and Vio. These will replace any vines that are older, or got hit with the tractor. Yesโฆusually the damage comes from the tractor. We have not done any replants since 2019. In half a decade we havenโt had to replant, which is not bad! These vines come in bundles of 25, so the timing really must right when you decide to replant.

In other updates, weโre tucking. The vineyard crew is lifting the catch wires that we dropped in the spring, and tucking the foliage in. Within a couple weeks from now weโll go back through, do another tuck and shoot position
