Freeman Lumber was honoured to attend the 300th anniversary commemoration of the 1726 Peace and Friendship Treaty at Fort Anne in Annapolis Royal.

Standing on the grounds where the treaty was ratified 300 years ago was a meaningful reminder that lasting prosperity is built through respect, partnership, and strong relationships.

The forestry sector has a strong future when industry, Indigenous communities, and governments work together toward shared goals for economic growth, stewardship, and stronger rural communities.

A meaningful day reflecting on the enduring spirit of peace and friendship that continues to shape our region today.
