Calling all small retailers, service, and specialty businesses to join us at the Big Box Era Workshop - how to Survive and Thrive on SEPT 10 (9am-Noon).
Join fellow local small businesses to find strategies to out-maneuver, weaponize, and be part of the disruption as we anticipate the arrival of a significant big-box store to our community. The session will be broken into 5 topics:
Reality Check (the Lloydminster landscape, leakage reversal concept, and labour reality); Margin & Inventory Defense (inventory audit, curation pivot); Winning the Talent War (non-monetary value proposition, retention check-in, cross-training); Marketing & Community Counter-Offensive (community impact versus pricing war; co-operative efforts; regional targeting); and Action Plan (workbook completion and open advisory hot seat discussion with local experts).
