On Wednesday, we were proud to host approximately 80 customers at our 4th Gerdau Intel Day event in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Together, with our customers, partners and colleagues, we discussed key trends, opportunities, and challenges shaping the North American special steel market. Special thanks to our speakers from the Center for Automotive Research, University of Michigan RSQE, Mobility Global, Forging Industry Association and Reshoring Initiative for sharing their expertise. It was great to see so many bright minds in one room, working together around a common goal.

Today we announce our results for the 2nd quarter of 2026.

Our results were positively influenced by strong performance in our North American operations and a slight recovery in EBITDA from our Brazilian operations.

The continued recovery of the business operation in Brazil reflects an asset realignment strategy focused on greater profitability and productivity, amidst a domestic market still affected by the influx of unfairly traded steel imports.



*The exchange rate for converting Brazilian reais (R$) to US dollars is R$ 5.1766 per US $1.00, which was the commercial selling rate for US dollars as of June 30th, 2026, as reported by the Central Bank of Brazil.*
