Sherlock Holmes books and ephemera from a single owner collection now up for auction, together with volumes by L.M. Montgomery including "Emily of New Moon", "Anne of Green Gables" and "The Story Girl", an essay proof by Tom Wolfe with handwritten notes and corrections, 18th/19th century examples, Stephen King including first editions, Canada & local interest, signed books (Michael Caine, Larry King, Michael Ondaatje, Margaret Atwood, Bret Hart, etc.), unique collectibles, artwork, antique maps and more.

NOTE: This special collection of Sherlockiana was accumulated over 50 years by Jack Winn, founder of The Stratford On Avon Sherlock Holmes Society, a scion society of The Toronto Bootmakers, comprised of books, pamphlets, games, assorted ephemera & more; there are bound Strand magazines containing several first edition stories, rare editions including Christ's Irregular Guide and author signed books by such august scholars as Tupper Bigelow and Christopher Redmond; there are two annotated volumes and almost 300 booklets of the Baker St. Journal published in New York that have much of the original scholarship; most major movies and silent films will also be included in this sale.
