Do you know where your farm equipment is right now?

Over $1M in stolen farm equipment was just recovered in Fresno County, right in the middle of almond harvest.

Huge credit to the Fresno County Sheriff's Office Ag Crimes Task Force and Air Support Unit for flying around Kerman and bringing it all home.

When harvest equipment goes missing, you lose more than a machine. You lose days in the field when every day counts.

Two things to do tonight:
✅ Walk your yard and check your inventory. Detectives are asking growers to report anything that looks out of place.
✅ Park equipment in well-lit, locked areas overnight.

📍 One way to be ready if it happens to you: IntelliCulture's GPS tracking alerts you the moment a tractor, harvester, or trailer moves when it shouldn't, and shows you exactly where it went.

🌾 Today, we celebrate the people who keep the farm moving.

On a farm, the work doesn’t stop when the sun goes down.

It doesn’t stop on weekends.
It doesn’t stop on holidays.
And it certainly doesn’t stop when the weather doesn’t cooperate.

From before sunrise to long after sunset, farm workers show up, put in the work, and do whatever it takes to make sure the job gets done.

Planting. Harvesting. Maintaining equipment. Caring for crops. Solving problems. Working through heat, rain, cold, and everything in between.

Farming is 24/7/365 — and it takes dedicated people to make it happen.

Today, on Farm Worker Appreciation Day, we want to say thank you to the hardworking men and women who are the backbone of agriculture.

Your dedication feeds communities, supports families, and keeps the world moving forward. 🌎🌱

Thank you for everything you do — every day.

The other week I shared that 33% of tractor hours are spent outside the blocks. Today let's go a level deeper.

Knowing where your machines spend time is powerful. But there is another question you should be asking yourself.

Are you utilizing all the machines you have?

Machine distribution is one of the most overlooked inefficiencies growers face. And it's because they're lacking accurate tools to help position assets accordingly, forecast future purchases or reductions, and identify the lemons in their fleet before they breakdown during a harvest.

This is where IntelliCulture steps in. Getting you answers to questions most operations are guessing at:

An Orchard Manager is asking for another tractor. Are they utilizing all the tractors they have efficiently or could better planning fill the gap?

Use actual machine hours to verify and forecast future needs of your fleet before buying something you may not really need.

Visibility doesn't stop at knowing where your machines are. It extends to knowing whether you have the right machines, running in the right places for what your operation demands.

Here's what the numbers tell us:
You can save $2,194 per tractor each season by changing behavior and reducing idle time in your orchard.

18% idle is average, 12% is realistic,
and 7% is achievable.

18% idle is costing $71,970 in fuel & labor for an operation of 20 tractors each season. Getting this down to an achievable 7%, maximizing their fuel & labor resources is saving them $43,871 every year.

Growers that are actively monitoring and taking action are changing this behavior and increasing their productivity. This is where IntelliCulture steps in.

An active alert system, daily inbox reports for accountability and achievable targets are what's needed to change this behavior.

No more guessing,
Know.

Growers tell us spray applications are one of the highest-cost, highest-risk activities in any orchard or vineyard.

One orchard operation discovered they had been over-applying on 30% of their acreage. Not because of bad intentions, but due to poor communication and organization.
For this spray, the excess cost of chemical was the least of their worries because now their crop is at risk.

The fix usually isn't hiring better operators. It's giving managers real time visibility with alerts so they can take action in the moment.

No more guessing. Know.

Big news! 🎉

We’re thrilled to welcome Brice Nettleton as our newest Customer Success Manager!

Brice is joining our amazing team to help strengthen customer relationships, drive value, and ensure every client has an outstanding experience. We couldn’t be more excited to have him on board.

Brice’s roots are in Bakersfield agriculture, where he spent his early years working on friends’ farms and learning the fundamentals of production ag. He went on to build professional experience in the dairy sector moving feed, operating hay squeezes, and running cultivation and harvest equipment across a variety of operations. After moving to Sacramento in 2019, he transitioned into permanent crop logistics and field operations in Northern California. In 2021, he stepped into ag-tech with a telematics company, eventually leading Customer Success for growers statewide. Today, Brice brings four years of hands-on Success leadership in permanent crops across almonds, walnuts, pistachios, and vineyard operations.

Welcome to the team, Brice!

Our team is at the Unified W**e & Grape Symposium, and there’s nothing better than connecting with our growers in person. 🍇

From meaningful conversations to shared insights, this week is a great reminder that everything we do starts with the people in the vineyard. Grateful for the chance to listen, learn, and grow together.
