Shake Shack is coming to London! 🍔

The New York-founded restaurant chain is expanding to London’s south end, with a new location planned for 3275 Wonderland Rd. S. Opening is expected in the first half of 2027 and will mark Shake Shack’s first Ontario drive-thru.

The new restaurant is expected to create around 100 full and part-time jobs, including management positions, while bringing another major international brand to London’s growing retail landscape.

The 2026 FISU World University Rowing Championships are underway at Fanshawe Lake, bringing more than 300 student-athletes from over 20 countries to our city for three days of international competition. It’s also the first time the championship has been hosted in Canada.

Competition runs through Saturday, August 15, and admission is free for spectators. Head out to Fanshawe Lake, cheer on the athletes and show our visitors the support London is known for!
