The space is defined by its grand domed ceilings, elegant arches, and softly lit reading areas lined with extensive bookshelves. This beautifully restored 19th-century interior creates a serene and inspiring atmosphere for study, while its vast collection of books, manuscripts, and rare materials makes it one of the world’s most important resources for art history.
