We are hiring a Senior Technologist!
In this role, you are responsible for coordinating engineering responses for water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and stormwater management requirements related to Planning Act applications. You oversee technical studies, designs, and cost estimates for construction and maintenance projects, and review consultant submissions for compliance and approval. You manage capital program coordination, support divisional budget planning, and supervise technical staff and consultants. You also adapt technical methods to address non-standard situations and research, develop, and recommend updates to divisional policies, standards, and procedures.
We are looking for candidates who have:
• Three-year Community College Civil Engineering Diploma.
• Over five years' related experience.
• Member of the Ontario Certified Engineering Technician and Technologist (OACETT) as a Certified Engineering Technologist.
• Demonstrated proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet and various software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid Driver's License-Class G.
