It's Day 2 of Waste Reduction Week in Canada, and today's theme is textiles. 👕

Half of what's in the average closet rarely gets worn. With the holiday season and parties coming up, it's easy to think you need a new outfit. Before you buy, go through what you already have. Restyle a piece you've been saving, fix the ones that need a button or a hem, and donate or swap the rest so someone else gets to wear them.

Every extra wear keeps clothing in use longer and out of landfill. ♻️

Close to 100 members of our Eastern Canada team came together in Toronto to celebrate Waste Solutions 20th anniversary at the Blue Jays game!

With our team spread across the country, we love any chance to get together in person. There were lots of hugs, laughs, catching up, and plenty of cheering for the Jays.

A fun afternoon together with an amazing group of people and a Blue Jays win to top it all off!

Ahead of the school year beginning in September, our team was onsite at Fanshawe College conducting a waste audit to better understand what’s moving through their waste stream.

Our Western team celebrated 20 years of Waste Solutions with an unforgettable day at the Calgary Stampede!

We suited up in our western gear, proudly sported our custom 20th anniversary belt buckles, took in the rodeo, and enjoyed an afternoon filled with great conversations, laughter, and plenty of Stampede spirit.
