Plowing Update: Crews Resting After 12 Hours on the Roads

After 12 hours of hard work, our Township plow operators are off the roads for the night to rest and recharge. They’ll be back at it tomorrow morning, continuing their efforts to keep our roads safe and clear. A huge THANK YOU to our dedicated crews for your incredible work! 👏

🚨 Important Reminder: Please do not call the Township’s after-hours emergency line for non-emergencies, such as weather condition updates. True emergencies should be reported directly to the OPP.

Hi Moose Creek residents. EC WORKS LTD has been operating since 2004 in the Cornwall area and last year we did snow removal division in your area. We are glad to help you with your snow needs again this year. Our driver lives off of McNeil Rd . Our run will be from corner of 138 and McNeil road, up Valley Street into town , including Nevada St. The driver is experienced and familiar doing snow in the Moose Creek area. This tractor will also have a front plow for commercial lots. We are also equipped with a truck/salter, should that service be required. Feel free to send us a message for your free estimate. Beginning at 7 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17 Highway 138 will be closed at the railroad crossing in Monkland. The 138 is expected to reopen at 6 p.m. the same day. The closure is planned to help facilitate repairs to the railroad crossing. A suggested detour route has been identified.

Proud to be a sponsor for the Cornwall Dirt Raceway Park last night. Congratulations to all winners, runner ups and all participants. Thank you to the EC works members, who came out, for running pit crew last night for my little guy. He is very thankful to you all and is very proud of his 3rd place to finish off the season.
