I am so happy and grateful to present to everyone that we have a new berry on the scene this year that I at least have not seen in these parts before! Meet the bilberry which is a cousin of the blueberry!

Here are some identification points so you can see if you can find some too.

It's been a magical and plentiful abundant year of wild berries here at North Haven for the first time ever! This year we have discovered that we have a interesting and unique to us new berry that has shown itself up on the scene! The Bilberry! Which is not a blueberry but very similar, although the taste is very different. Check it out!

It's Berry Season at North Haven Orchard and after these passed 2 great years of decent rainfall, following 5 straight years of drought, we are starting to see the fruits of our labour! 🥰
