“Ships that wait for the perfect winds never sail.”⛵️
This has been sitting with me as we step into a new year. ✨
Every January, I see it again:
People waiting for the right time to start an online business.
Waiting until:
• the kids are older
• the schedule is lighter
• the confidence is higher
• the fear is gone
• the economy feels safer
But here’s the truth…
There will never be perfect winds.
There will always be bills.
There will always be doubts.
There will always be someone doing better than you.
There will always be a reason to wait.
And yet… the people who change their lives don’t wait for certainty.
They sail anyway. 🚢
They start messy.
They learn as they go.
They build courage by taking action — not by thinking about it longer.
I didn’t start when I felt “ready.”
I started when staying the same felt scarier than trying.
This new year, my thought is simple:
Stop waiting for permission.
Stop waiting for confidence.
Stop waiting for perfect conditions.
Raise the sails with the wind you have. 🌬️
Because movement creates clarity.
Action builds belief.
And momentum changes everything.
