Alamos Gold was proud to support Mining Matters in bringing its Mining Rocks Earth Science program to the community of Lynn Lake.

Over two days, local students explored rocks and minerals, the mining cycle, environmental stewardship, water filtration and the important role mineral resources play in our everyday lives through hands-on activities designed to make Earth science engaging and accessible.

The program also included a Community Night, bringing together students, families and community members for an evening of learning and discovery.

More than 60 students, educators and community members took part, helping build greater awareness of mining, Earth science and the range of career opportunities available across Canada’s minerals industry.

As construction advances on our Lynn Lake Project, initiatives like this are an important part of how we continue building strong connections with the community. The project represents an important new chapter for mining in Manitoba, and we’re committed to being a positive and engaged partner in Lynn Lake for the long term.

Earlier this month, members of Alamos Gold's executive team joined Chief Bear and Council of Mathias Colomb Cree Nation in Pukatawagan, Manitoba, to connect with community members and celebrate the Impact Living Agreement signed in March 2025.

Meaningful partnerships are built through open dialogue, collaboration, and respect. We appreciate the opportunity to spend time in the community and look forward to continuing our work together as the Lynn Lake Project progresses.

Everyone deserves access to mental health support when they need it.

Through Alamos Gold's contribution to Kids Help Phone’s Finding Hope program, we’re helping support access to critical mental health resources and services for young people and families across Canada.

Kids Help Phone continues to provide connection, support, and hope to communities every day, and we’re proud to support the important work they do.
