Meet Deborah Evans, founder of Luminate Communications and one of our wonderful members at The Village Hive Duncan Mill! 👋🐝

Deborah runs an award-winning marketing agency that helps nonprofits better connect with their audiences through impactful fundraising and stewardship content — from donor campaigns and emails to annual and impact reports.

After 15 years of working from home, Deborah originally joined the Hive because a major home renovation made it impossible to work there. Her plan was to stay only until the construction was finished.

That renovation wrapped up 2.5 years ago… and she’s still here! 💛

Turns out, getting out of the house and finding a community to work alongside was worth sticking around for. 😊
