We are pleased to share that the historic Cypress Club has reopened, welcoming both members and the broader community back into this cherished space in Medicine Hat.

Under new food and beverage management, the Club is entering an exciting new chapter—one that blends fresh energy with the preservation of its longstanding traditions. The Cypress Club Preservation Society has worked diligently to ensure that this important heritage building remains a vibrant gathering place, and we are proud to see it come back to life once again.

We invite you to stop in, experience the renewed atmosphere, and support the continued revitalization of one of our city’s most iconic social spaces. More details on hours, offerings, and upcoming events will be shared soon.

As the results came in last night, it was clear the voters had made their decision. I offer my sincere congratulations to those elected and wish them every success as they take on the important responsibility of leading our city forward.

To everyone in Medicine Hat and across Alberta who supported this campaign with your time, encouragement, donations, and conversations—thank you. Your belief in this community has been an inspiration.

Public service is a privilege, and participating in this democratic process has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. I also want to express my deepest gratitude to my wife, whose unwavering support, patience, and encouragement made every step of this journey possible.

Although I will not be serving on Council, my commitment to this community remains as strong as ever. Together, let us continue working to make Medicine Hat the vibrant and welcoming city we all believe in.

Today marks an important day for Medicine Hat.

Over the past months, I’ve had the privilege of connecting with so many people who care deeply about our city’s future. Your ideas and conversations have shaped this campaign and reminded me what public service is truly about.

No matter how you vote today, I encourage you to take part in this democratic process. Every voice counts, and every ballot helps shape our community’s direction.

Thank you to everyone who’s supported, volunteered, and shared in this journey. It’s been an honour to earn your consideration.

Let’s keep building a strong, inclusive, and forward-looking Medicine Hat—together.
