Join Our Team as an Administrative Assistant!
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant. In this role, you will help manage daily administrative operations, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure smooth office functions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily administrative tasks to promote efficient workflow within the office.
• Address client inquiries promptly and courteously, providing top-notch support.
• Handle BC One Calls and assist with permit applications, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Perform data entry, document proofreading, and filing to maintain accurate records.
• Utilize QuickBooks Online, Joist, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Slack for invoicing, scheduling, bookkeeping, and communication.
• Support clerical functions, including typing correspondence, managing emails, and organizing files.
• Assist with billing and basic bookkeeping tasks as required, ensuring financial accuracy.
Qualifications:
• Prior office experience, preferably in construction or forestry settings.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications.
• Experience with QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software is preferred.
• Excellent computer skills, including data entry and typing, are essential.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in proofreading and record-keeping.
• Proven customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and effective communication.
• Strong multitasking capabilities is highly desirable.
Wage
• $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
