We are currently seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team. This position involves precision work around existing structures, foundations, and underground utilities, so attention to detail and a strong understanding of safe excavation practices are essential.

Responsibilities:

* Operate excavators safely and efficiently on residential and/or commercial job sites
* Perform detailed excavation work around buildings, foundations, and tight-access areas
* Safely expose and work around underground utilities (water, sewer, electrical, etc.)
* Grade, trench, and backfill to specifications
* Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
* Work closely with site supervisors and ground crew to ensure accuracy and safety

Requirements:

* Proven experience operating excavators (minimum 3 years preferred)
* Strong ability to work around structures and live utilities without damage
* Knowledge of grade, elevations, and reading site plans is an asset
* Valid driver’s license
* Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
