Ever wonder where that missing sock went?

It might be hiding in your washer! This pile of socks built up over time and eventually knocked the belt off.

Safety reminder from a service call in Leduc, Alberta today.

I found this gas dryer with the exhaust vent completely disconnected, allowing combustion gases to vent into the home instead of outside. The homeowner mentioned they had been getting headaches whenever the dryer was running.

If you have a gas dryer and notice unusual smells, excessive heat, or don't remember the last time the venting was checked, it's worth having it inspected. Sometimes a simple issue can become a serious safety concern.

If you need your appliances serviced, give MCKAR Appliance Services a call or text at 780-387-1862. I'm proud to serve Leduc, Beaumont, Calmar, Thorsby, Pigeon Lake, Wetaskiwin, Millet and the surrounding communities.
