The sweetest little 5-week-old baby boy came into the studio last week for his newborn session. While this is a little on the "older" side for the newborn photos we typically create, he absolutely understood the assignment and was an absolute gem from start to finish!

Both Mom and Dad are actively serving our country, so a military-themed session was the perfect way to honour their family's story. I had so much fun bringing this setup to life, and this sweet boy made every moment easy.

A heartfelt thank you to all the dedicated men and women who work, serve, and protect our country each and every day. Your commitment and sacrifice are deeply appreciated. ❤️

Lets start this Monday morning with a beautiful share of one of my favourite sessions last week! These young graduates are going places and talking with them, sharing their adventures planned for this summer and beyond was just so inspiring.

This past week has been wonderfully busy both in and out of the studio, capturing beautiful memories for many incredible families. Because of that, I'm running a little behind on sharing sneak peeks—but I couldn't wait any longer to introduce this sweet little lady.

Our first newborn of the week was nothing short of perfection. As Mary Poppins would say, she was "practically perfect in every way." From her sweet little expressions to how peacefully she settled into every pose, both Brenna and I were completely smitten.

Thank you to her wonderful family for trusting us (once again) with these precious first memories of their second beautiful child.

Nearly two years after photographing her big brother as a newborn, I had the joy of welcoming this beautiful baby girl into the studio.

Nestled beneath a whimsical hot air balloon surrounded by the softest blush blooms, she looks as though she has drifted straight out of a storybook.

Some moments feel especially meaningful to photograph.

I first met this beautiful girl as a newborn, then again as a toddler, for her baptism, and now for her First Communion. Watching families grow and being invited back to document these precious milestones is one of the greatest honours of what I do.

There is something so special about preserving these fleeting chapters—the moments that, years from now, become treasured memories. To be trusted with capturing such important occasions in a family's story is a privilege I never take for granted.

There is something so incredibly special about watching families grow. 🤍

A few years ago, I photographed this beautiful family welcoming their first baby into the world… and now I had the absolute honour of documenting their newest little love.

This session was everything I adore — soft vintage tones, sweet simplicity, and a tiny little soul who gave us the most precious smirk before two weeks of age. Those early newborn days are pure magic. Sleepy stretches, curled little fingers, soft expressions that change almost overnight… they are fleeting in the gentlest, fastest way.

That is why newborn portraits matter so deeply to me. These images become part of your family’s story long after the newborn stage has passed. Because one day, the tiny baby in your arms suddenly isn’t tiny anymore.
