No seal, no deal🔋

If your lithium-ion battery charger doesn't have a recognized safety certification mark like CSA, cUL, or cETL, think twice before plugging it in.

Even if a charger has never caused problems before, it only takes seconds for a faulty or incompatible charger to overheat and create a serious fire risk.

For the safest charge, use the one provided by the device manufacturer or a manufacturer-approved replacement.

When was the last time you cleaned your dryer's lint trap?

Dryer lint is highly flammable. As it builds up, it restricts airflow and can cause your dryer to overheat, increasing the risk of a fire.

Make it a habit to clean the lint trap after every load ✅

A burn ban is in effect across Milton.

Bonfires, campfires, brush fires, and agricultural burns are not permitted while the burn ban is in place.

Smoke from forest fires in northwestern Ontario is causing poor air quality and smoky conditions in Milton.

Wondering if what you're seeing is wildfire smoke? Here are a few signs:

➡️ A light haze has been present for more than 15 minutes
➡️ The smoke is spread across a wide area rather than coming from one location
➡️ You can't see flames or identify a specific source
➡️ The air smells like a campfire or bonfire

If you can see flames, identify a specific source of smoke, or notice dark grey, black, or brown smoke, report it immediately by calling 9-1-1.

Our thoughts are with the communities affected by these forest fires and the wildland firefighters working around the clock to respond.

Operations and Training Divisions recently visited the Enbridge Parkway West Compressor Station to tour the facility.
