I saw a similar post recently, and it hit home. It made me want to go on a little rant of my own about the season we’re in.
The truth is, we’re busy. Really busy.
The days are long, schedules change, equipment breaks, weather doesn’t cooperate, unexpected things come up, and some days there simply aren’t enough hours to get to everything and everyone as quickly as we’d like.
That’s construction.
We won’t always get everything perfect. But there’s one thing we won’t do:
Sacrifice quality just to get to the next job.
Our name is attached to what we build. Long after our trucks leave the site, our work is still there - and that matters to me.
That doesn’t mean we can’t be better.
Communication. Scheduling. Following up. Keeping customers informed when things change.
Being busy isn’t an excuse for making someone feel forgotten, and that’s something I know we can continue improving.
Growth isn’t just about doing more work. Sometimes it’s recognizing where you’re falling short and doing something about it.
We’re learning. We’re growing. And we’re working every day to get better.
To our customers who have trusted us, and especially those patiently waiting on us, thank you.
And to our team putting in the long days to make it happen, thank you.
We’re not perfect, but we care deeply about what we do.
And no matter how busy this season gets, RESCON will never sacrifice quality just to move faster.
