Now Hiring:Cleaning Supervisor- Commercial Post-Construction Project
Location : Miramichi
Schedule : Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
Wages: Competitive
We’re seeking a hands on Cleaning Supervisor to lead a team on a large commercial post construction cleaning project. This is a full time temporary position lasting approximately 3-4 months, with responsibility for both supervising staff and performing cleaning duties alongside the team.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Cleaning Supervisor ensures the site is cleaned to post-construction standards, coordinates daily tasks, manages supplies, and communicates progress or issues to the Project Manager. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, reliable, and comfortable balancing leadership with physical cleaning work.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and support a team of Cleaning Technicians
-Perform hands-on post-construction cleaning tasks
-Assign daily duties and ensure work is completed to quality standards
- Monitor supply levels and coordinate ordering/restocking
-Conduct site walkthroughs and prepare areas for final inspection
-Maintain safety compliance and ensure proper PPE use
-Report progress, challenges, and staffing needs to the Project Manager
REQUIREMENTS:
-Previous experience in cleaning, construction cleaning, or supervisory roles
-Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
-Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks throughout the day
-Comfortable working in active construction environments
-Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
-Ability to problem solve and keep the team on schedule
