A Project That’s Still Making an Impact

Along the coast of Bellingham Bay, Ecotech Solar helped the Community Boating Center take another step toward its goal of 100% renewable operations with a 13.2 kW system featuring 30 Silfab Prime panels.

It’s a project we’re still proud to be part of, not only for the clean energy it generates, but for the mission it continues to support. With an estimated $125,000 in lifetime savings, the system will help CBC direct more resources toward scholarships, youth internships, and expanded access to outdoor education and marine programming.

Thank you, Ecotech, for choosing Silfab Solar and for helping bring clean energy to a project with such a meaningful purpose.

UNC Charlotte Graduate Researchers Visit Silfab Solar

We recently welcomed graduate researchers from UNC Charlotte to our Fort Mill facility for an inside look at our solar cell and module manufacturing operations.

Guided by Greg, our Director of Operations, the researchers toured our production lines and saw firsthand how advanced automation, engineering, and quality systems come together to manufacture high-efficiency solar technology.

We're proud to help researchers connect their academic work with real-world applications in clean energy and advanced manufacturing. Experiences like these help inspire the next generation of engineers, researchers, and renewable energy leaders.

A big thank you to UNC Charlotte for visiting our team and for helping strengthen the connection between education, innovation, and the growing clean energy industry!

What happens when you combine community solar with the demands of the Pacific Northwest coast?

That question was answered at Fisherman's Pavilion with:

✅ 159.53 kW community solar system
✅ 301 American-made Silfab Commercial panels
✅ Designed for a challenging coastal environment
✅ Expanding access to reliable clean energy

This project is a great example of what’s possible when community solar brings partners together to create lasting impact.

Thank you to our partners at Western Solar Inc., Puget Sound Energy, Cascadia Renewables, and the Port of Bellingham for helping make this project possible and expanding access to clean energy in our community.

Silfab Solar, a leader in American-made solar panels, applauds the thoughtful and responsive polysilicon policy by President Trump to further reshore American jobs and promote domestic manufacturing in support of the growing U.S. solar industry.

The White House decision regarding Section 232 tariffs on imports of polysilicon and its derivatives further strengthens U.S. manufacturers like Silfab Solar, which has invested hundreds of millions of dollars at U.S. facilities, employs thousands of American workers, and is planning further expansions to continue producing high-quality, extremely powerful solar panels and solar cells.

In the Evergreen State, Silfab Solar is helping keep it Ever-Clean. ♻️

Sustainability is at the heart of everything Silfab Solar does, and that commitment extends beyond its manufacturing facilities.

Last week, partnered with Washington's Adopt-a-Highway program to help keep local roadsides clean. By volunteering their time to remove litter, team members are helping protect the communities they call home while preserving the natural beauty that makes Washington the Evergreen State.

Together, the team is making a meaningful difference, one mile at a time.
