On a recent 2iSolutions engagement, AI produced the initial landscape analysis. Object inventory, interface map, where the technical debt sat, and which modernization work mattered first. It came back in a fraction of the usual timeline.

Separately, a senior architect validated every finding before it entered the programme plan.

Read that as a resourcing decision rather than a technology one. The volume hours came off the plan. The senior hours stayed, and moved to the part of the job a client is actually paying a premium for.

Here is a line that appears in almost every SAP programme budget and almost never gets challenged.

Senior architect, six weeks, discovery phase.

That is six weeks of one of the scarcest and most expensive profiles in the SAP market, spent reading legacy objects and chasing interfaces nobody owns. Necessary work. Also the least efficient way anyone has ever deployed a senior architect.

There is a better way to staff that phase, and the workflow behind it is on screen on September 2.
