Data from Bain & Company shows that a 5% increase in customer retention can boost profits by 25% to 95%.

At my last ActionCLUB session we mapped out the core frameworks to stop leaving money on the table:

🟡 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝟏: 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐨𝐲𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐲
A business must systematically guide someone up the rungs.

• Suspect & Prospect: They fit your target and finally share details.
• Shopper & Customer: They make and initial purchase, and return to buy.
• Member & Advocate: They feel a sense of belonging, and talk about you.
• Raving Fan: The ultimate goal. They will do your selling for you.

🟡 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝟐: 𝐄𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 "𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞"
A staggering 67% of customers leave due to perceived indifference.

They simply felt like you stopped caring the moment their invoice was settled.

To counter this, add CNEs (Critical Non-Essentials). These are small, unexpected gestures that aren’t required, but make a massive emotional impact because they surprise the customer.

It can be as simple as a courtesy check-in 24 to 48 hours after a first purchase.

🟡 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝟑: 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐄𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭
Every interaction with your database is either a deposit or a withdrawal.

• Withdrawals: Sales pitches, promotions, and booking reminders.
• Deposits: Tips, free resources, client appreciation, and genuine check-ins.

If your emotional bank account runs into a negative balance, people hit "unsubscribe" or take their business to a competitor.
