You do not always need a 3D scan.

And a good scanning partner should be honest enough to tell you that.

If the building is small and simple, the corners are square, there is no MEP coordination, and you already have recent drawings you trust, scanning may be more than the project actually needs.

The same applies if the cost of scanning takes up too much of a small renovation budget. Sometimes, the math simply does not work.

At UNIQ Dimensions, our job is not to sell scanning for every project.

In 1792, this town was known as Newark, the first capital of Upper Canada. Today, Niagara-on-the-Lake is recognized as a National Historic Site and is home to an incredible collection of post-War of 1812 architecture.

For this project, our team captured the existing conditions of the property in the heart of one of Canada’s most protected historic towns.

Because when a place carries this much history, accurate documentation matters.
