PROPER HOT TUB CLEANING PROCEDURE..
Why aren't people doing it . ?
We can help out or we can do it for you.
-Pull the filter..clean it thoroughly or get a new one.
-Pour in a bottle of SPA RENEW/ SPA FLUSH/ WHIRL-AWAY or a few tablespoons of AhhSome!
-run all the pumps connected on high with all jets open for 20-30 minutes and then let it circulate for a few hours
- Run the pumps on high again for twenty minutes or more before you power off the breaker and completely drain the tub.
-Wipe and rinse all the surfaces while it drains and use a scrub brush or scrubby sponges on all sticky or difficult areas.
-Shop Vac or otherwise suck as much water remaining from the pipes and jets as possible.
- Clean your spa cover and pillows with an appropriate cleaner+ protectant.
-Refill the spa
- Balance your chemicals
- shock it
-TEST IT!
-Repeat if necessary and at least annually.
- Reinstall the filter
