Another samosa post...we have some big orders for next week, Tues Jun 6 and Fri Jun 9. If you would like to order as well, we can decrease minimum order to 10 per flavour, pick up from our offices on Trinity Drive. Please call 905.276.3212 or email [email protected] to get your orders in asap. And if you also want to pick up some spices when you're here, we will be giving customers an additional discount on their purchases. Thanks!

Looking for samosas? We are still figuring out a new retail location, but have been getting multiple inquiries about samosas. So in the meantime we've decided we will do pre-paid pre-orders once a week (pick up Tuesday afternoons or Wednesday mornings), from our wholesale offices (Dixie and Britannia area in Mississauga). Minimum order quantity for veggie is 15 and minimum for non-veg is 10. Orders must be in and paid by Monday afternoon at 4 pm. When you have been neighbours as long as the Jain family and the Rayner family have been, you consider each other family. With this said, this morning we are sharing their message with you as we want to celebrate the history of East India Company:

As you may have heard EIC will be closing the retail storefront on Cawthra at the end of this month (April 30th)

Our wholesale business is rapidly growing as we’ve expanded into a new larger facility in Mississauga. Although we’re closing the retail store for now the plan is to find a new location in the area soon, so please stay tuned for updates!

This will be our LAST SATURDAY and we wanted to invite our beloved customers to visit before we leave. Sapna, Ravi and the family will be there (April 22nd)- please stop in and say hi, we’d love to see you!!

We have so many amazing memories from the 42 years we’ve spent at this location and we’re sad to leave. It’s a reminder that the only constant in this world is change, and the best way forward is to embrace that change. We’re excited about the future but this week is about recognizing the past and all the hard work that it took to get here

Come say hi, share some memories, and take a photo to add to our collage !!

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all our wonderful customers who have had patience with us during this time and continued to support us in many ways. It is because of you that we have thrived for almost 50 years, and we are working hard to continue to serve you and our community as best as we can. Please keep an eye on our page for updates on products and pick up options. At present we are doing curb-side pick up for orders that come via phone and email, and are feverishly working on an online platform for e-commerce to streamline the process, which should be launched by end of next week. We will soon be posting product lists of the things we carry to make your shopping experience easier - everything from spices to baking supplies (yes we have flour and yeast!) to rice to grains to Indian groceries to health food to lentils...everything you could possibly need to stock your pantries and bring out your inner chef! Stay in touch and stay safe...from our family to yours :-)

Please note samosas will only be available twice a week for customers who give advance orders, no walk-ins until the retail area is open again.
Curbside pickup on Tuesdays and Fridays, please place orders 48 hours in advance via email or phone - [email protected] or 905.276.3212.
