📈 Ontario–India Trade: +88%
Since 2018, trade between Ontario and India has increased by 88%, with particularly strong engagement in technology and advanced manufacturing.

📈 Ontario–Pakistan Trade: +36%
During the same period, trade between Ontario and Pakistan has increased by approximately 36%, reflecting growing commercial ties while also highlighting considerable room for further expansion.

Pakistan has strong potential to deepen its economic relationship with Ontario, particularly in textiles & apparel, agrifood, information technology, manufacturing, construction-related products and professional services.

The comparison presents an important opportunity. With stronger B2B connections, trade missions, investment facilitation and institutional cooperation, Ontario and Pakistan can work toward a broader and more diversified economic relationship.

World Trade Developers Inc. was pleased to welcome a distinguished business delegation from Iraq to Canada for the Lifestyle Expo Business & Investors Conference (LEBIC) 2026 and Canada Gateway Expo 2026.

Rana Muhammad Tanveer, CEO of World Trade Developers Inc., had the honour of organizing and facilitating an important meeting between Hon. Victor Fedeli, Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade of Ontario, and Hon. Ch. Shafay Hussain, Minister for Industries & Commerce, Government of Punjab.

The meeting provided an excellent opportunity for meaningful discussions on trade, investment, economic cooperation, and the latest political and economic developments in Pakistan, Canada, and the wider region.

The discussion also focused on creating new opportunities for businesses and investors and further strengthening Ontario–Punjab and Canada–Pakistan trade and investment relations. 🇨🇦🤝🇵🇰
