👀❤️ Your kids are observing and learning more than you think.

We often say, “I’m doing this for my kids.”

And yes, we work hard for them. We want to give them opportunities, stability, and a better future. 👩‍👧‍👦✨

But what if one of the greatest things we can give them is an example?

📚 An example of a mom who decided to learn something new.
💪 A mom who stepped outside her comfort zone.
🔄 A mom who tried, failed, and tried again.
🌱 A mom who didn’t give up just because something felt scary.

As South Asian women, we all grew up hearing, “What will people say?”

But what if instead we started asking, “What will my children learn by watching me?” 💭

Celebrations hit differently when you’re celebrating far from home. ❤️

I had the privilege of attending Pakistan’s Independence Day celebrations in Ridgeway Plaza.

It was a beautiful reminder of where we come from—and how far we’ve come.

Immigration isn’t easy.

Starting over in a new country takes courage, patience, sacrifice, and a whole lot of effort.

But anything worth having usually does.

A new life. A new opportunity. A business. A dream. ✨

The journey may not always be easy, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t worth it.

Here’s to honouring our roots, embracing the journey, and continuing to build the life we once dreamed about.

Have you ever thought imagined or journaled to your future self?

Imagine meeting yourself one year from today. ✨

Would you wish you had taken that first step?

You don’t need to have everything figured out. You don’t need a perfect plan or the confidence to know exactly how it will all unfold.

Sometimes, it starts with something incredibly small:

✨ Learning something new
✨ Asking the question you’ve been afraid to ask
✨ Giving yourself permission to try
✨ Taking one step outside your comfort zone
✨ Believing that you’re capable of more

A year is going to pass whether you take the leap or choose stay where you are.

So why not make sure the version of you waiting on the other side has a reason to say:

“I’m so glad I didn’t give up on me.” ❤️
