Full refurbish on this mimaki. Client purchased it as is and wanted to rebuild it. 💪
Here's what was performed:
- Flushed ink lines
- Replaced dampers
- Installed new print heads
- New Cap installed
- New ink pump
- Installed new Encoder strip
We cleaned, replaced, calibrated. By end of day, that machine was running crisp CMYK test bars and printing like nothing ever happened.
Broken to brilliant in 24 hours.

A print shop called us on a Monday morning. Their wide-format roll-to-roll was down. No output, warning lights on, media feed completely off. Jobs were piling up. Clients were waiting.
We were on-site the same day.
Loose ribbon cable connected to the printhead was causing print head voltage error...nothing we haven't seen before.
By Tuesday morning, the machine was back online. Clean nozzle test, sharp prints and no banding.
Broken to brilliant in 24 hours.
