Happy Pride Month/Pride Season from everyone at Chroma! 🏳️‍🌈🎉

This is a month when 2SLGBTQIA+ communities and allies come together to celebrate the lives and contributions of 2SLGBTQIA+ people across the world. Celebrations continue from June to September, all of which is Pride Season!

Historically, Pride gatherings emerged from the first large-scale protests for 2SLGBTQIA+ rights. In Canada, the first demonstrations took place in Ottawa and Vancouver in 1971. By 1973, Pride events were held in several Canadian cities, including Montréal, Ottawa, Saskatoon, Toronto, Vancouver and Winnipeg. Toronto's Pride weekend in June is now among the largest Pride events in North America.
