Sometimes, quality matters more than quantity.

Although we had a smaller group for our Professional Community Club session, “The Selection Process: What May Influence Hiring Decisions,” the conversation was incredibly engaging from the very beginning to the last minute of our full two-hour session.

A huge thank you and appreciation to Xeniya Pavlova, Thao Nguyen Krishna Pandya Meena Graf and Matthew for your thoughtful sharing, experiences and different perspectives. 🙏

I honestly couldn’t have asked for more from such a meaningful discussion. It was a great reminder that sometimes a smaller group creates the space for deeper conversations, more interaction, and learning from one another.

This is exactly what the Professional Community Club is about: creating a space where we can learn from each other, exchange experiences, and explore topics from different professional perspectives.

It’s been a while since my last post! I’ve been enjoying some vacation time, catching up on work, and now it’s time to get back to our routines. 😊

I’m very happy to announce our August Professional Community Club session:

Getting selected for a job involves more than simply meeting the qualifications. But what factors may influence the final decision?

In this interactive 2-hour discussion, we will:

🔹 Explore the key stages of the selection process
🔹 Discuss factors that may influence hiring decisions beyond qualifications
🔹 Explore the difference between being qualified and being the right match for a specific role
🔹 Discuss real-life selection scenarios from different perspectives
🔹 Share experiences and learn from fellow professionals
🔹 Reflect on what we can take away for future career opportunities

This is not a “how to get hired” session. It’s an opportunity to better understand the selection process through shared experiences, perspectives, and discussion.
