We want to thank Alicia Roisman Ismach, Brad Wasson, Florin Filip and Vagmi Mudumbai for your rich insights on our panel discussion and the thought provoking questions each of you left us with.

Some highlights from the conversation:

1️⃣ A useful way to think about AI adoption is in three levels:

🔹Basic use: asking questions, drafting content, summarizing information, and accelerating routine work
🔹Reasoning use: analyzing options, identifying patterns, testing ideas, and supporting stronger decision-making
🔹Agentic use: enabling systems to take defined actions or complete multi-step workflows with appropriate human oversight

2️⃣ The opportunity is not to apply AI everywhere. It’s to identify where it can create real value for your customers, your team, and your business - while protecting the work that requires judgment, trust, and human accountability.

Where should AI help your organization move faster? And where should people remain firmly in the loop?

Working with great partners makes all the difference. Rethinking Business in the AI Era was a collaboration with Wallace McCain Institute.

We’re still buzzing! Our centre was filled with over 100 guests diving into how we can all rethink business in the AI era.

Lots of reflections and takeaways from Alexander Manu - today’s keynote speaker:

-Every business will become a technology company.
-AI is not about technology, but about transformation.
-The future of business is not about forecasting - it's about foresight.
-The greatest organizations will use AI to enhance human agency.
-AI will not make you question if you have a business model, but whether you have the right one.

Alexander Manu left the room with a challenge: Every successful organization is an answer to a question. So what is the question your organization is answering?
This will give you your business' DNA (and not necessarily the framework of what you think your business is).

Huge thank you to Wallace McCain Institute for this collaboration, and to Alex Manu for the insights shared.

One of the most common pitfalls is falling in love with a solution before confirming the problem. A strong idea is rooted in a clear, urgent need – not just a clever concept.

The clearer and more specific you can be, the stronger your foundation becomes. Broad or vague problems often lead to weak value propositions.

That level of clarity opens the door to meaningful validation and prioritizes assumptions based on value (to the business) vs. risk (likelihood of failure).

Every startup begins with an idea – but not every idea becomes a viable business. The difference is rarely passion or effort. More often, it comes down to validation: understanding whether your idea solves a real problem for a real market.
