We are pleased to be partnering with Ben Hokum & Son Limited, a family-operated sawmill and leading producer of red and white pine lumber in Eastern Ontario, in their search for two key additions to their Golden Lake team: a Quality Control Specialist and a Certified Industrial Millwright.

The Quality Control Specialist role is all about the details: grading rough and finished lumber, catching defects before they become problems, and mentoring production staff on what quality really looks like. Full-time or part-time options are available.

The Millwright role keeps the mill running on nights: troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment, tackling preventive maintenance, and getting to the root of recurring failures before they cause downtime.

They're looking for someone with:
- Quality Control: 5+ years of lumber grading experience, mandatory white pine grading experience, a lumber grading permit or equivalent
- Millwright: Ontario 433A certification, 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred
- Sharp attention to detail and strong troubleshooting instincts
- Confidence to work independently and communicate clearly
