Role: Business Analyst (MIFID II)
Location: Toronto
Job Description:
MiFID II Senior Business Analyst for global asset management group for implementation of the regulation on Charles River platform.
Work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, technical/applications teams to define and manage requirements and recommend solutions to include the following:
Conduct requirements elicitation meetings and document requirements around MiFID regulatory issues.
Work with other BA’s within the MiFID regulatory initiative to aggregate and condense requirements specific to MRD.
Evaluate, research, analyze, recommend and document business solutions that satisfy sponsor/stakeholder needs; continually exploring and assessing options for value-add for our clients.
Resolve conflicts/issues of medium complexity and escalate others as appropriate.
Contribute to successful project completion within budget and on time by identifying risks and developing/recommending mitigation strategies.
Effectively communicate and build rapport with team members, stakeholders and business partners using a variety of techniques and collaboration from initiation to close.
Must-have
7+ years of experience working as a Functional, Data or Business Analyst or equivalent
Strong experience in creating functional workflows involving multiple systems in trade life-cycle.
Strong Transact SQL knowledge is expected.
Experience in requirements planning/elicitation/facilitation (for medium to large groups), detailed analysis, end to end (E2E) requirements documentation which includes use case modeling, data modeling, business process modeling, business object modeling.
Professional with experience on medium to large projects/programs involving multiple applications and/or 3rd parties
Experience and/or understanding in various software development methodologies, such as Iterative, Waterfall, Agile
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
