🎯 Start with the free workshop Before I started working online, I was working a full-time corporate job in the golf industry at the head office here in Ontario. It was a good job and it paid the bills but I HATED being stuck behind a desk all the time with only two weeks of paid vacation a year. When I had my son in late 2018, I knew right away I didn't want to return to work. I just wasn't willing to trade my time with him for a job I wasn't passionate about. So I began searching online for something I could do from home. I tried a few different "businesses" but quickly realized they weren't for me. I didn't want to push products, try to recruit people or deal with shipping headaches. I had almost given up my search when I came across an ad on my newsfeed about a digital business. Of course, I was skeptical but I trusted my gut and knew when the right time was for me. So in 2019 when I mat leave was coming to an end, I decided to check it out and I finally took action. It ended up being EXACTLY what I was looking for! Just a couple hours a day was all I needed to get up and running. After the initial two weeks business set-up period, the automated system kicks in and keeps the business running so I can tend to it when I have time! (mostly after toddler bedtime)

It fits into the crevices of my day perfectly, allowing me to be a fully present parent to my 2 year old son. The first step we all take is to watch the FREE live info session. The kind of success I used to think looked like a bigger paycheque, a fancy title and a corner office.

Turns out, for me, it looks a lot more like slow mornings, comfy clothes, school pick-ups, working from my own space and having the flexibility to be there for the people who matter most.

Nothing flashy. Just a life that actually feels like mine. đŸ€

We were taught to build our careers around a 9–5, then somehow fit motherhood, kids, appointments, sick days, school events and life around it.

And when it doesn’t work? We blame ourselves.

Jobs are great
 until your company decides to downsize or absorb your position while you’re on mat leave. 🙃

I’m not going to sell you on overnight success because, honestly, that’s BS.

I’m just a Canadian who found another way to get paid that doesn’t require asking another adult for time off.

And no, I’m not saying quit your job tomorrow.

Use the income you already have to start building something of your own.

Because using your job to help fund your freedom? In this economy, that just makes sense.

You know what’s harder than starting a business while raising kids?

Working a full-time job while raising them.

I started my business so I could work in the cracks of my day, still be there for the milestones, the random Tuesday adventures, and all the little moments in between.
