Hot take: there is almost always a cheaper way to do business.
But cheaper has never been the only thing that governs how we operate.
We care deeply about keeping our products accessible, but we also care about where our materials come from, who makes them, and where our money goes once it leaves our hands.
100% of what surrounds your order is sourced through Canadian businesses, many of them right here in Québec; bottles, lids, labels, boxes, paper products, packing materials, even the dang sealing tape.
And as we grow, that matters even more.
Because growth gives you purchasing power. And purchasing power gives you the ability to decide what kinds of businesses you want to help build around you, what you want your economy to look like, and who’s day you want to make by supporting them. Every time, we vote Canadian.
We take that ethical responsibility seriously.
So yes, sometimes there may be a cheaper option elsewhere. But if we can support a Canadian manufacturer, printer, supplier, or small business instead, that choice means something to us, and it definitely means a lot to them.
We want Kulig Aromatique to grow in a way that brings other good businesses with us. If that growth may be slower than the next supplier who imports in bulk from overseas, so be it. We’re proud to stand exactly where we are, and it’s about time we let you know what goes into your orders; because it’s a lot more heart, soul + intentionality than just fragrance.
Its both a proud moment + a sigh of relief to know that no matter what comes our way in the vein of tariffs or anything else, we’ve built a business designed to weather it all by purchasing from Canadian businesses who manufacture right here on Canadian soil.
