What if nine specialized AI agents could coordinate the day-to-day administrative work of an entire business?
That is part of the vision behind SoftSim Technologies’ next chapter.
Our journey began in 1990 with Barada Consulting and grew to include engineering work associated with Canada’s space program, the International Space Station, Canadarm robotics, and defence technology.
Today, we are bringing that experience into a new generation of proprietary Agentic AI software—systems designed to do more than store information or assist with individual tasks. They are being developed to coordinate and execute routine workflows within defined permissions and human oversight.
SoftSim is advancing five specialized platforms:
▪ Axcess1 — Modernizing access-to-information and privacy request management.
▪ GrantCore — Simplifying grants and contributions administration, from applications through reporting.
▪ Claranion — Streamlining healthcare administration so teams can devote more attention to essential services.
▪ Assessia — Supporting assessment and evaluation management.
▪ SoftSimERP — Bringing proposals, recruitment, HR, contracts, finance, and other business functions into one integrated environment.
At the centre of SoftSimERP’s vision are nine specialized AI agents designed to work together—coordinating administrative processes and escalating decisions that require human authorization.
This next chapter also includes ongoing discussions concerning Axcess1 with Quebec’s Ministry of Health and Social Services, opportunities involving approximately 10 municipalities, including prospective customers in Michigan, and an ambitious management goal: building SoftSim into a $50 million Canadian technology enterprise within five years.
How did a journey rooted in space engineering lead to this vision for enterprise AI—and what comes next?
