Sonoro Gold Corp. (TSXV: SGO | OTCQB: SMOFF | FRA: 23SP) has announced assay results from the first 10,000 metres of its ongoing 50,000-metre drill campaign at the Cerro Caliche Gold Project in Sonora, Mexico.

Highlights include:
⛏️ 18.29m @ 3.392 g/t Au & 44.3 g/t Ag, including 9.14m @ 6.438 g/t Au & 85.8 g/t Ag

⛏️ 9.14m @ 3.076 g/t Au & 26.1 g/t Ag, including 6.09m @ 4.531 g/t Au & 37.5 g/t Ag

⛏️ 18.29m @ 1.674 g/t Au & 30.4 g/t Ag, including 6.10m @ 4.568 g/t Au & 84.6 g/t Ag

Drilling also identified El Quince as a new potentially significant mineralized zone, while confirming lateral and depth extensions of existing mineralized corridors and geological continuity between several zones.
The campaign is designed to potentially increase the size, grade and classification of Cerro Caliche's mineral resource.

Yesterday, Sonoro Gold Corp. (TSXV: SGO | OTCQB: SMOFF | FRA: 23SP) announced the completion of its acquisition of 23 additional mineral concessions adjacent to its Cerro Caliche Gold Project in Sonora, Mexico.

The acquisition adds 4,239 hectares, as Sonoro continues to significantly expand the footprint and exploration potential of Cerro Caliche.
Since January 2026, the project has grown from 1,350 hectares to 8,215 hectares, plus a 51% interest in an additional 454 hectares.

The expansion comes as Sonoro advances its 50,000-metre drilling program, targeting potential increases to the size, grade and classification of the mineral resource while also investigating the continuation of mineralized corridors into the newly acquired concessions.
