AI and Chat GP4 blessing or a curse? The list of industries and professions potentially negatively affected by this technology is growing. Creative artist, and literature industries seem to be taking the first hit. The fake and track previously released was cited for “infringing contact created with generative AI“ but it had already been stream 600,000 times on Spotify and receive 15 million views on TikTok before it was scrubbed. The issue is this can represent both a breach of our agreements and violation of copyright law . Source

The concept of “fair dealing” in intellectual property law has been invoked by in order to use a clip from Princess Diana’s infamous interview with Bashir, in which he falsified documents in order to secure her. This clip and interview was to be banned from further exposure. However it has resurfaced in the Netflix documentary at the upset of Prince of Wales and the Firm in general. What are your thoughts on the use?

Members of the 2022 CAFA Nominating Committee will be reviewing all of the applicants as well as putting forward names they would also like to be considered. ALL of the submissions will then be reviewed and the final 2022 nominees will be announced in late winter next year.
The winners of each category will then be chosen by members of the 2022 CAFA Jury.
