Here is an example of the 2nd type of reports provided by Player'sCost: The Player'sCost Market Value report.
This report summarizes the current Relative Performance and Market Value of a player and his projected value for the remainder of his career.
Specifically:
1. The PERCENTAGE% in the upper left corner represents the Current Relative Performance of the player (from 0% to 100%, respectively the worst and best performing player in that position). The corresponding RANK in position is also provided.
2. The $NUMBER in the upper right corner represents the Current Market Value of the player (in US$)
3. The graph presents the Market Value of the player (in US$) by age, adjusted for position (forward, defense or goaltender).

In the bottom section of the report, the table presents the salary structure for a variety of contract durations. Specifically:
1. Each row of this table represents a specific contract duration (1 year, 2 years, etc…)
2. Each cell presents the yearly salary based on the Market Value of the player (in US$) by age, adjusted for position (forward, defense or goaltender)
3. The last two columns provide the average and total salary for each contract duration.

This is PK Subban's Performance Dashboard showing that he is currently among the TOP defensemen in the NHL. Player'sCost estimates PK's ranking to be 18th among defensemen for the season 2011/12 with an overall relative performance of 94.2%.

Here is how to interpret the Player'sCost Performance Dashboard:

- A GREEN color means that the player has done better in the current year than all of his 5 previous years. RED means that he has done worse than all of his 5 previous years. YELLOW means that his current performance lies somewhere between his previous low and high
- For each statistic, the Relative Performance of the player can vary anywhere from 0% to 100%, respectively the worst and best performing player in that position
- OVERALL in the first row is the statistic combining and summarizing all other statistics
- 6-YEAR TREND represents the Relative Performance of the player observed over the last 6 years (including current season)
- PRIOR SEASONS represents the lowest and highest Relative Performance of the player observed over the 5 previous seasons
- SEASON 2011/12 represents the Year To Date Relative Performance of the player for the current season
