Wwise 2026.1 marks a pivotal evolution in the journey toward a unified, center-focused authoring experience, and establishes a foundation for the future.

Key features in Beta 1 include:
🎛️ Shared Segment: The Music Segment has been renamed to the "Segment," expanding its timeline functionality so it can be used interchangeably across both sound and music.
🔊 Acoustics: Acoustic simulation reaches new levels of efficiency and visibility through a massive performance overhaul, along with improvements to the Game Object 3D Viewer.
🔄 Replay: Captured profiler session replay, resimulation, and looping for iterative authoring.
🎉 And so much more!

Please note that this is a Beta version intended for testing and feedback; it cannot be used for official project releases and will not be supported beyond the full launch of 2026.1.
