Un compte au grand livre est un compte utilisé pour trier, classer et résumer les transactions d'une entreprise. Ces comptes sont classés dans le grand livre général (charte de compte ou plan comptable), avec les comptes du bilan apparaissant en premier suivis par les comptes de l'état des résultats.
