At Capitol Industries, we take great pride in the fact that our people come from a diverse variety of countries and cultural backgrounds (and we all get along) as represented by the thirty-six flags that grace the entrance of our building.

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Unican/Capitol Industries founder, Aaron Fish, on Thursday, October 1, 2020, peacefully at home. He led a remarkable life, from humble beginnings, peddling key blanks by bike at the age of seventeen, and later inventing the ubiquitous push button lock, founded one of the largest multinational security empires on the planet. He was a remarkable visionary, both proud and humble of his accomplishments, and remained devoted and loyal to his employees until the very end. R.I.P. Mr Fish.
