An American firm located in Montreal is looking for a Intermediate-Senior Graphic Designer with experience in User Interface Design (web and mobile applications).The Graphic Designer will be part of a creative team collaborating with a UX Team. This position requires an eye for creativity and detail, the ability to manage multiple projects within a collaborative environment and excellent written and verbal communications skills.
The Graphic Designer will be responsible for supporting the design and production of various projects under the supervision and mentoring of the Creative Director.

Responsibilities:
• Provide UI design and production support based on project requirements, internal guidelines and market trends
• Develop the design rationale and explain visual choices to cross-functional teams; express concepts verbally and visually
• Produce high-quality visual designs from concept to ex*****on (web and mobile)
• Adhere to Kronos UX/UI standards while also contributing to the constant evolution of our products
• Push creativity, challenge established thinking, and discover new ways of approaching (and solving) a problem
• Solid understanding of hand-held device/web/mobile graphics techniques and production practices

Experience and Qualifications:
• Formal education in graphic design
• Strong layout and production skills aand understanding of user-centered design principles
• Ability to create responsive layouts based on current web standards
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in UI design related to web and mobile applications
• Proficiency in CSS3/HTML5, Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop (Adobe Creative Cloud)
• A proven track record of working well with UX designers, developers, product managers, and business partners
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent in English, excellent presentation and writing skills

Enthusiastic, passionate, dynamic, and open to suggestions to make the applications more user-friendly

Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in designing responsive websites and mobile apps

Our client is seeking, for its Montreal office, a passionate and talented individual to join our fun and fast-paced team, working on multichannel design.

The ideal candidate will design and deliver projects along with working with the UX team to ensure a dynamic and highly effective and engaging products and services.

Responsibilities include
Understand customer needs and design multichannel user experiences, that are powerful and yet ease to use.
Must be able to work well in multi-disciplinary group including technical, business, and customer experience perspectives.
Identify opportunities to improve the usability and user experience of customers products.
Work with other designers and programmers to achieve strong solutions without sacrificing usability.
Articulate problems and solutions in an innovating way.

Education & Professional Experience
A minimum of 5 years experience creating impactful and functional interactive design with multi-disciplinary teams.
Experienced in human factors, user interaction design, UX strategy and UX design.
Must be a team player.
Keen sense of customer experience and customer needs.
Experience with best practices design standards & documentation tools (Axure, InDesign, Balsamic, etc.).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to details.Prefer candidate with experience designing multichannel touchpoints but not mandatory.
Graduate-level degree or post-graduate in a field related to human factors, cognitive psychology, interaction design or industrial design.

Préférence pour des candidats avec une expérience en design de multiples points de contact, mais pas obligatoire.
Niveau Baccalauréat, Maîtrise ou équivalent dans un domaine du design des interactions, design de produits, ergonomie cognitive ou connexe.
Excellente communication en anglais et en français (écrit et oral).
