2023 is coming to an end, and we'd like to thank our community for such a great year. Our collaborators, clients, and the many people we met this year, helped us leave a bigger mark and gave us the opportunity to help more teams work better together. We are advocates of celebrating small wins, so here are some of this year's highlights:

-Building and refining our 10-week Cutlurecamp™ program and offering it to 200 people across various teams and industries

-Working on our long-term support strategy for client's post-Culturecamp™

-Adding 4 inspiring people to our collective with whom we got better at facilitating, marketing, branding and sales. With their support, we also improved our ability to share our expertise with more people

-Continuing our collaboration with our long-term clients and developing a case study with one of them on the impact of our work

- Updating our website!

- Finally, Nogol, our founder and CEO grabbed the mic and got on stage. And guess what? She loves it. This year she presented in front of approximately 500 people. Next year, we want that number to increase into the thousands. Our key learning this year is that we need to keep educating people about psychological safety and its importance in today's world of work.

We're taking two weeks off and when we return, we'll be even more motivated to speak with all of you and to continue our work.

Until then, Happy Holidays and thank you for being part of our community :)

Psychological safety doesn't make risk-taking comfortable, it makes it doable.

Recently, we asked how comfortable you were with admitting your mistakes.

The responses were eye-opening – many of you embraced your errors. Yet, this practice seems absent in team environments. Why? It's not just about awareness, teams need to create the right moment for such discussions.

Not long ago, we brought this experience to a client and saw incredible engagement when people were given a supportive space to share.

Implement a practice in your team where discussing mistakes is safe and encouraged. Share your experiences and learn together. This approach can turn mistakes into valuable lessons for everyone. Make sure you follow the checklist :)

As seen in a recent Silicon Valley shake-up, the success of any organization can hinge on the strength of its team dynamics, especially during times of intense external challenges or internal upheaval.

Innovation and risk-taking are essential for success, but these words are so overused they've lost their impact. The truth is that innovation thrives in environments that foster trust and make people feel safe to share their thoughts and admit their mistakes.

Think of this space as fertile soil for new ideas to grow, half-formed ideas are explored, mistakes acknowledged, and new things tried.

Beware of rushed decisions, a fixation on ex*****on, and silencing divergent voices. These practices undermine both safety and innovation.

If innovation is a core value of your team, create a safe environment where people can share and experiment. And guess what? Subscribing to our newsletter gives you more tips on building a daring and safe culture of innovation!

One of our most illuminating conversations with a client goes back to 2021. Our client sought to rebound from a digital obstacle and realized they’d been going at hyperspeed and needed a new approach.

With the help of a new leader, they crafted a growth strategy that reshaped the organization's culture and partnered with us to embark on a year-long program to foster psychological safety and curiosity. This led to the adoption of a brand new culture for the team, a "Culture of Curiosity." The Culturecamp™ transformation in full effect.

Through workshops, exercises, and peer exchanges, they practiced habits that promoted psychological safety and strengthened their team dynamic. This journey enhanced productivity, creativity, revenue, and engagement and created a connected and thriving community.

We're excited to share more on this soon, but in the meantime, we wanted to highlight one of the most exciting outcomes—the level of engagement.

In our time working together, we met a major milestone: 92% participation in satisfaction surveys. It was a huge win for this client and sums up how far the team has come in terms of engagement and overall connection.

What milestones have you been able to achieve with a more engaged team?

Everyone has an image of what their ideal team culture looks like, even if the one they’re currently in is pretty strong. But when it comes to developing and/or improving team culture, you can’t just talk or dream about it, you need to take action.

Regardless of good intentions, many teams who decide to take action struggle to make a real impact because they’re unclear of the changes they want to make.

When we at Glee Factor start work with a client on their team culture, one of the first things we try to understand is their vision. And one of the questions we ask is: What do you want to see change in how you work as a team on a daily basis? What do you want to see improved in how you interact collectively?

How would you answer this question? Can you picture putting this vision into action with your team?

Grounded in science and guided by behavioral and data-driven insights, our solution helps you transform your dynamics by turning ideas into actions.

If you’re looking for meaningful change, reach out for a complimentary 30-minute consultation and let’s work on this vision together!

A common thread emerges across the diverse industries and teams we work with - the need to break down silos and communicate seamlessly.

Although fostering psychological safety within close-knit teams in today's hybrid work landscape can often be a breeze, creating a risk-taking culture across entire organizations is still challenging.

This can impact the collective performance and engagement across various departments. Wondering how to cultivate psychological safety and foster dynamic cross-team communication?

Tip of the Day: Celebrate the small wins with your team.

This is one change we encourage our clients to make because it positively influences how teams work and how they act.

Leaders are great at celebrating results and accomplishments, but few know how to celebrate (or recognize) effort.

Taking a minute out of your day to acknowledge small wins, can have a big impact.
