🇨🇦💵 WAIT… CANADA HAD A 25-CENT BILL?! 🤯

Believe it or not, Canada once had PAPER MONEY worth just 25 cents!

This is a 1923 Canadian Shinplaster, and the story behind it is pretty interesting! 👀

First introduced in 1870 as a temporary solution while waiting for silver coins, these little banknotes ended up sticking around for decades!

💰 Today, circulated examples can be worth around $20 to over $100, while high-grade examples can reach several hundred dollars!

Not bad for something that was once worth just a quarter! 🪙

Apparently, I’m not the only one who gets excited about finding a tiny difference on a 30-year-old coin! 😂

60,000 people following a guy who spends way too much time looking at pocket change… that’s pretty incredible!

One of my favourite things about this page is reading your comments, seeing the coins you’ve discovered, and hearing from people who have started checking their change because of these videos. 🔍

That’s what makes this whole thing so much fun!
