Looking for a great seasonal opportunity this winter? Moose Cree Group of Companies is now hiring Labourers for DCS Mine Services to support our winter snow removal operations.

This is a great opportunity to join a hardworking team, earn a competitive wage, and work a two-weeks-on, two-weeks-off schedule.

💰 Starting wage: $27–$30/hour
📅 Schedule: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
❄️ Position: Seasonal winter contract – Snow Removal

Niska One Ferry – End of 2026 Season Update

As the 2026 ferry season comes to a close, please be advised that the Niska One Ferry will be pulled out of service on October 26, 2026.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all passengers, businesses, and companies who relied on our services throughout the season.

Your continued trust and support have been greatly appreciated.

A special thank you goes out to our dedicated captain and crew for their hard work and commitment, as well as our Moose Factory office staff for their ongoing assistance and support to customers each day.

It has been a great and exceptionally busy season, and we are proud to have played a part in helping our community and businesses get where they needed to go.

Thank you for being part of our 2026 season. We look forward to welcoming you aboard again next year!

The Niska One Ferry will be operating on Sunday, October 11 and Monday, October 12th (Thanksgiving) with limited spots available. This run is intended to accommodate passengers arriving off the train.

📞 To make a booking, please contact our Moose Factory office at 705-658-4335.

A second run may become available and will be determined by the Captain on the same day, depending on conditions and availability. Please be mindful of tidal conditions, as they may affect ferry operations.

🚨 NISKA ONE FERRY SERVICE NOTICE 🚨

Wednesday, September 30th, 2026

The Niska One Ferry will be operating throughout the morning on Wednesday, September 30. Please be advised that afternoon ferry runs between 2:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. will be cancelled due to low tide conditions.

🌊 PLEASE PLAN AHEAD: Tidal conditions can be unpredictable and may impact ferry operations. We kindly ask all passengers to be considerate of the tides and plan their travel accordingly.

📞 BOOKINGS: As our office will be closed for the statutory holiday, please contact our Moose Factory Office today at 705-658-4335 or email [email protected] to secure your booking.

For Wednesday, all existing bookings will be honoured first. Once those passengers have been accommodated, any remaining space will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and cooperation as we work around the changing tidal conditions.

The Niska One Ferry will be operating a special run on Sunday, September 27, with limited spots available. This run is intended to help accommodate passengers arriving off the train.

Those who are booked will have a guaranteed spot, afterwards it’ll be FCFS.

A second run may become available and will be determined by the Captain on the same day, depending on conditions and availability. Please also be mindful of tidal conditions, as they may affect ferry operations.

Future Sunday runs may be posted in advance in the coming days. Please be mindful as it will depend on tidal conditions.
